I hope for you to live more fully into your "one wild and precious life" (Mary Oliver). Please know that I assume we are all continually evolving as human beings. I understand how courageous it is to seek healing and reach out for help. What should a new client know about working with you?

I will team with you to build on your strengths so that you feel supported and able to tolerate distress, exercise more choice in how you react to situations, and improve relationships. I use mindfulness, relaxation breathing, Trauma-Informed Stabilization Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to assist you in your journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take time to get to know your preferences and goals for therapy. We work together to consider any relevant diagnoses and develop a treatment plan. I frequently check in with you about how therapy is going and what you need from the process. I utilize mindfulness to help you gain a sense of what you are feeling and which parts of yourself may require attention and healing. Trauma-Informed Stabilization Therapy and Internal Family Systems may be used to help you understand parts of yourself and gain agency in how you respond to challenging life situations.
