Regina Walls, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi there, I'm Regina! As a Therapist, I believe all humans deserve to feel safe in their mind and body. Welcome to my Clinical Practice-let me walk with you on your journey to emotional well-being. I provide client-centered care to individuals and families struggling with adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma. My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Grief and Loss support, Person-Centered, and Trauma-Centered methods. I've worked with adults, including geriatric patients, for 15 years. I'm comfortable supporting clients and families facing terminal medical diagnoses, chronic conditions, pain management, medication dependency, lifestyle changes, and trauma. I also have experience with veterans and their families. My communication style reflects the session's tone and matches what clients are comfortable with. I present myself as respectful and compassionate, treating each person as the unique individual they are. My approach is nonjudgmental and empathetic. I allow clients to guide sessions and manage time effectively. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University. My journey began with a passion for advocacy and helping individuals reach their potential. I recognized untreated emotional and mental health issues often create barriers to that potential. I enjoy my work and go to it each day intent on helping individuals overcome challenges. My motivation is client outcome and the belief that change happens when changes are made. Based on presenting problems, I encourage clients to set realistic therapeutic goals. As a clinician, I help monitor these goals, provide effective treatment, and offer motivation for change. I reassess goals over time to ensure continued relevancy.
