My name is Regina Walsvig, a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). I hold a Master's in Counseling and a Bachelor's in Child & Adolescent Development, both from California State University, Fullerton. I work with all ages using individual, couple, family, or group psychotherapy.
I feel fortunate to be involved in conversations with people that generate their curiosity, depth of emotion, relief, and processing of uncharted territory. This therapeutic relationship offers new experiences that truly have the ability to harness one's inner strength. I appreciate so much that therapy is a place that requires absolute authenticity from everyone involved-just you, as you are. No more, no less.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Sometimes we need to feel heard, a witness to our pain. Other times we need to know what to do to make it through the rest of the day after session. I tailor sessions to meet your needs--using a combination of depth-oriented exploration, alongside discussion to determine next steps in your process.
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
