Renee Gallagher is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds and in a number of different specialty areas. These include life adjustments, trauma, relationships, domestic abuse, stress management, addictions, forensic social work, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, and severe mental illness. Renee obtained her graduate degree from Marywood University in 2002 and has since worked with hundreds of individuals, couples, families, and groups. Ms. Gallagher has received significant training in trauma-informed care and adult attachment disorders, as well as in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness approaches. She stresses the need for collaborative partnerships with clients, focusing on client strengths and problem solutions. Additionally, she is a 10-year U.S. Navy veteran and has worked extensively with veterans who present with unique trauma experiences.
