I was inspired to become a therapist early on in life. In my early years, I found that my friends naturally gravitated toward me when they were going through a difficult time?not necessarily seeking advice, but because I was able to listen without judgment. I soon developed a passion for helping others by being there for them, offering a safe space to be vulnerable, explore their thoughts and feelings, and guide them toward relief and resolution. I hold a Master's in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and I am a CA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Since 2007, I have worked in community mental health, serving a diverse population of children, adolescents, young adults, and families from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I have supported individuals facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, and disruptive behaviors. I take an integrated approach to therapy, tailoring it to the unique needs and styles of each person. This flexibility allows me to blend different but complementary therapeutic methods to work with you in the most effective way. I believe we can all benefit from having a safe space to be vulnerable?to feel heard and supported. My goal is to provide a healing environment that guides you toward meeting your needs, finding relief, and achieving your goals.
