Getting to know Revon Miller

I always knew that I wanted to be a helping professional. As part of an assignment in a counseling course designed to assist offenders with substance abuse problems, I had to write in five words or less what I wanted people to remember about me. My words were “helped people live better lives.” I have over 30 years of experience working with clients who live with psychiatric and substance use disorders. I began my career working for the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). After observing the effects of early childhood trauma on many of the offenders I supervised, I decided to end my 21-year career with GDC and pursue an education in counseling. I earned my Master's in Clinical Rehabilitative and Mental Health Counseling from Thomas University, a decision I have never regretted. For the last six years, I have provided psychotherapy for individuals and groups. I love doing what I believe I have been called to do, and my life's work remains guided by those five simple words in my title. I look forward to helping you learn to live a better life!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe one of the most important needs we have as human beings is the need to be seen. I can also add to that by saying we also need to be heard. I want my clients to have a genuinely felt experience of being seen and heard and have the expectation that our collaboration will move them closer to reaching their treatment objectives and goals after each session.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Revon is tuned and locked into what you say and gives you the concepts to view and overcome the challenges
Wish i could select more descriptions, but it’s a pleasure to be heard and not have a drug prescription to mask my thoughts.
So far it’s going well. It’s still early in my sessions to give a full overview.

Dr. Revon Miller was a delight! It felt like I was speaking with my mom. She targeted my concerns quickly and came up with helpful suggestions and even offered amazing resources. I am glad that I found her. I'm considering couple's counseling with her if my fiancé' is on board. Thank you Dr. Revon Miller!
Dr. Miller is amazing. I've worked with therapists off and on for years. But, this is the first time that I feel like I'm in therapy that will dig deep enough to make me my best self. Dr. Miller's approach is so calm and empowering. And I absolutely love that she roots her practice in a multi-modal approach to meet your needs. I also love that she provides resources for you to work on outside of sessions. Looking forward to continuing my journey with her!
Mrs. Ravon is a warm, educated, beacon of light and guidance. The seamless mixture of logic and empathy encourages self evaluation and grace. If you are willing and ready to do the work, she is who I would recommended
I feel completely comfortable sharing life’s issues with her. I never receive any judgement. I always feel better after every session.
Dr. Miller and I have had energetic and positive meetings since our initial talk. I appreciate her warmth but most importantly how she combines science, research and studies into our talks. I appreciate that approach when talking about the challenges that I'm working through.
I feel very comfortable and look forward to a breakthrough with her guidance. My only "concern" is I feel she uses self references and shares stories that takes away from my time. I believe it is her way to be sure I understand and clarify things but I feel it gets lengthy at times, I feel it most be noted.
