Getting to know Rhiana Turner

I help high-achieving women build stronger marriages, healthier families, and calmer minds—especially those navigating executive dysfunction, late-diagnosed ADHD, and the invisible pressures of doing everything for everyone else. My practice is designed for women who aren't looking for someone to simply listen—they're looking for someone who will help them identify patterns, challenge long-standing beliefs, and create meaningful, lasting change. My clients are often successful on paper but privately exhausted by the pressure they place on themselves and the invisible mental load they carry every day. Many of the women I work with are navigating late-diagnosed ADHD or executive functioning difficulties. Some have a formal diagnosis, while others have been told they don't meet criteria for ADHD but still struggle with organization, emotional regulation, decision-making, procrastination, perfectionism, or feeling like everyday life takes far more effort than it seems to for everyone else. Together, we focus less on labels and more on building systems that actually work for your brain. I also specialize in working with women who want to become stronger partners, mothers, daughters, and friends. Whether you're preparing to start a family, hoping to strengthen your marriage before welcoming your first child, or trying to break unhealthy relationship patterns you've carried for years, therapy can become the place where you intentionally build the life—and family—you want rather than repeating the one you inherited. A significant part of my work involves helping women rebuild important family relationships after trauma, conflict, or years of misunderstanding. If you've spent years feeling misunderstood by your parents, carrying resentment, or wondering whether your family relationships can ever improve, we'll work together to better understand those dynamics and determine what healing can realistically look like.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many of my clients are professionals in demanding careers—healthcare providers, executives, entrepreneurs, attorneys, educators, and other high performers. They're often the person everyone else relies on while quietly struggling with burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, or the feeling that they're never quite doing enough. I've also worked with many individuals who grew up in financially successful families that appeared "perfect" from the outside but privately experienced emotional neglect, unhealthy family dynamics, unrealistic expectations, or relational trauma. I'll absolutely celebrate your wins, but I'll also gently challenge the patterns that are keeping you stuck. I believe insight without action rarely creates lasting change, so our work is focused on helping you leave sessions with practical tools, increased self-awareness, and clear direction—not just temporary relief. The clients who tend to thrive in my practice are curious about themselves, willing to receive honest feedback, and motivated to apply what we discuss between sessions. They aren't looking for perfection; they're looking for progress. They want healthier relationships, greater emotional resilience, and a life that feels more intentional than reactive. I have been published multiple times in the US and New Zealand, including in Forbes. I was recently interviewed for a podcast & encourage you to listen to it to get a feel for my personal style to see if we are aligned.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Because I primarily provide telehealth services during business hours, my practice is often an excellent fit for professionals with daytime flexibility, remote schedules, parental leave, entrepreneurs, or individuals who value the convenience and privacy of virtual therapy. If you're ready to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and become the version of yourself you've been working toward, I'd be honored to help you get there.

I was with Rhiana for about 6 months and I loved every session with her. She is very understanding, but will also be very realistic with you. Because of Rhiana I was able to get that motivation to sort some things out in my life and am now feeling more secure and confident with myself.
Rhiana is incredibly friendly, personable, and judgement free. I've found it really easy to open up to her to really move forward in productive ways. She's also really funny. I've enjoyed working with her so much in the past, I've followed her to this platform.
My visits are always very good. She is always on time and is also flexible to fit our meetings into my schedule. She is helping me with all of the things I need help with along with helping me understand my ADHD better so I can be more in tune with myself. I have always gained something from our conversations and enjoy continuing my self care journey with her help.
I always appreciate how Rhiana can meet me where I am depending on the day and circumstances occurring in my life. I’ve always felt extremely comfortable in all of our sessions and would recommend her to anyone looking to grow and heal through therapy.
If you only read the first sentence, then I highly recommend Rhiana as a therapist. She's great! If you want details: I have been talking with Rhiana for a few years, and I am so happy with our sessions. She has helped me process the loss of a pet, grad-school, and childhood issues. Through good or bad times, she has made it easy to feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings. She has always been kind, flexible, and comfortable to talk to. She will listen, support and encourage you. She will also challenge you to think, feel, and develop. I've never felt judged or looked-down on by her, and if a loved one was looking for a therapist I would be more than happy to recommend Rhiana.
I’ve been seeing Rhiana for 6-7 months. I always learn something in every session, which I appreciate. She helps me gut check my own reactions and dive into old history. On one occasion I needed an emergency session (it was a Friday night or course!) and she was able to respond within an hour. It was so appreciated.
Rhiana does a great job getting to know you so she can help you more holistically. Not only will she address the issue you are calling for, but helps to identify underlying causes and provide coping skills so you are more prepared when future situations arise. I couldn't recommend Rhiana enough. She gives tough love when you need it but always supports you and values your feelings.
I have suffered from PTSD and childhood sexual abuse. I saw four different therapists before I was introduced to Rhianna. Her wisdom, care, and experience show she is genuinely invested in her patient's well-being. I would recommend her to anybody because I fully trust her and her counsel. She has made a pathway that has changed my life.
I did not know how bad I needed this appointment until it started! She was incredible and showed so much patience and kindness.
