Getting to know Ricardo Reyes
Hi there, I'm Ricardo! When individuals experience unexpected ups and downs in the world and are challenged to restore equilibrium in their lives, I have been there to assist them in finding balance again. I have worked with individuals suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, coming out, or unexpected life changes. My desire is to help individuals rise above their challenges, reach their potential, and feel good about themselves again. I understand that one approach does not always have all the answers and that life comes from different angles and perspectives. Therefore, I draw from many strategies and perspectives, including Humanistic therapies, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and affirming therapies. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and completed a Doctor of Psychology program in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University in 2007. I also hold a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.
