I am a licensed clinical social worker, and my passion lies in helping you to navigate your grief. Whether your loss involves the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a shift in your dreams, or losing parts of yourself, you may be having mixed experiences of sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, anxiety, confusion, isolation, overwhelm, and even relief. While grief is a universal experience, it is also complex and deeply personal. Your mind, body, and soul are naturally responding to a significant loss in your life, so what you are feeling right now is not only normal but valid as well. It is a challenge to navigate grief and even more of a challenge trying to do it alone. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see how I can support you. To start: this lost, this change matters and your grief deserves to be expressed and heard. Whether your loss was loved or a struggling experience, it is deserving and worthy of compassionate support. My passion for grief support developed from a deeply rooted evangelical background. I witnessed the profound impacts of loss in various forms and degrees: whether one was faced with sickness or death, navigating strained and broken relationships, or dealing with the loss of identities and careers. Grief was pronounced everywhere I went. These experiences ignited a strong desire to extend compassionate care and empathy to those going through challenging times. As I journeyed alongside others in their grief, I discovered a profound sense of purpose in providing support towards solace during their most difficult moments - solidifying my commitment to grief support. With over 6 years of palliative/hospice and primary care experience, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to support you and your varying experiences with grief. I completed my master's degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Denver. In this program, I received two years of specialized training in clinical practice.
