Psychotherapist
CA
I believe that you are the expert in your life story and have many hidden strengths that can be discovered to overcome obstacles and create positive outcomes. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in this discovery process of achieving optimum health. I hold a Master's in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University and am a Fellow at McLean Hospital-Harvard Medical School in the Institute of Coaching. With 18 years of clinical experience as a psychotherapist, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges my clients face. My prior experience as a producer's assistant to Academy Award and Emmy Award winners gave me insight into the dreams and ambitions of striving to reach the top, staying there, and balancing the demands of school, career, family, and relationships. At times, relationship problems or addictions arise when we try to meet personal and family obligations while seeking our share of success. When one side of the scale becomes heavier than the other, it causes imbalance. To restore balance, I provide evidence-based psychotherapy using CBT, Solution-Focused, and Motivational Interviewing approaches, all grounded in a humanistic perspective. I have applied these psychotherapeutic interventions to assess and navigate goals, helping improve the lives of clients associated with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and the Los Angeles County Superior Court. My current clients include Fortune 100 executives and program managers from diverse backgrounds. I offer psychotherapy and coaching solutions to individuals, couples, and families seeking caring support, change, or improvement-whether to strengthen work, family, or team objectives or to ease anxious thoughts, depression, or stressors related to life's challenges.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
