Getting to know Richard Halverson Muenzer

I offer support-based services utilizing both faith-based and secular perspectives to help guide clients in determining their best short- and long-term personalized goals and objectives. Together, we will create a client plan designed to help you achieve your personal goals within the most advantageous time frame possible. I am non-judgmental and strive to meet my clients where they are in their life journey, supporting their transition to desired future outcomes and refinements. I work with clients experiencing mild, moderate, and severe mental health challenges, including those facing current crises related to marriage, life stage transitions, or self-improvement. I serve adults of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. With a Master's degree in Psychology from Bethany University, I have experience counseling from both faith-based and secular perspectives. I believe that each person has unique gifts and passions to offer themselves, their families, and their communities. Often, we need empathy, support, and feedback to fulfill our expectations and goals in life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Richard always had a new idea for my husband and I to create bonding time. He also helped up work through matters that seemed like such a huge problem and showed us that they were actually trivial in the scope of the things. When I first started therapy with Richard I was an angry and not smiling person, by the time I was completing therapy with him I was full of smiles and joy. Thank you Richard!!
