My name is Richard Alan Mendoza, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Though I specialize in treating couples and families, I also work with clients presenting a wide array of personal issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, PTSD, and grief. As a therapist who has been on the other side as a client, I understand how difficult it can be to open up to a stranger. My hope is to cultivate a safe therapeutic space that allows clients to breathe and sit in the present moment with themselves. In time, I aim to assist clients in discovering insights as well as solutions to their most pertinent issues.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
