Getting to know Richard Soper

It takes courage to reach out for help when you struggle or feel stuck. As a therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University, I’m dedicated to creating a secure setting where my clients can express themselves and work through obstacles, adversity, and life changes. Therapy provides an opportunity for clients to question long-held beliefs that may no longer be beneficial to their present lives and make lasting change. In my practice, I work to create a non-judgmental and affirming environment where you can explore, process, and feel.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe we can all live a life filled with confidence, fulfilling relationships, purpose, and a sense of control. It's my hope that after a session, you leave feeling supported and like you made some progress. There is a place for processing the stresses of life, and often that's my office, but my goal is you leave even just a little bit stronger.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
