IMPORTANT: Thriveworks cannot provide services to clients with Medicaid coverage. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan directly to find an in-network provider. For all other insurance plans, Thriveworks will verify your benefits after you book through Zocdoc. If verification isn't completed before your visit, you'll be charged our self-pay rate of $200 for that session. AFTER YOU BOOK: Complete these steps to avoid cancellation or being switched to self-pay. 1. Check your email for instructions to set up your Thriveworks account. Within your Thriveworks’ account, sign consent forms and add a valid credit card, which will be automatically charged for copays, fees, post-insurance balances, and self-pay amounts. 2. If using insurance, upload clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card. 3. Expect a confirmation call from our team to verify your information and answer questions. CANCELLATION POLICY: Provide 48 hours advance notice to avoid the $135 late cancellation fee. I am an LCSW based in North Carolina with more than 20 years of experience. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels genuine, caring, and safe. I'm passionate about working with adolescents and adults as they navigate life's challenges and discover new ways to grow and heal. Please note that I provide therapy services, but not psychological assessments. I use a compassionate, client-centered approach that blends CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to help clients heal, gain clarity, and build resilience. Together, we focus on self-worth, emotional growth, and practical tools for creating balance and lasting change. I offer insight into both everyday challenges and major life events that can disrupt your sense of balance. I have worked with older adults and clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, life transitions, and domestic violence. My role is simply to help you uncover your strength and overcome life's challenges.
