I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice since 1996. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. I have training in short-term solution-focused therapy, addressing interpersonal, developmental, and existential concerns. I am also well-versed in cognitive behavioral therapy. I seek to offer practical goals and objectives to my clients to address the changes they are seeking. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In my sessions with clients, I seek to establish a collaborative relationship based on trust and compassion .I will seek to understand your reasons for seeking therapy, and what you wish to change. we will identify specific problem areas you want to change and establish goals and objectives on a regular basis. I will encourage you to use therapy as a tool that you can use outside the the cuunseling room to create the change you seek. I will always ask for your input to understand if your needs and expectations are being met

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
