Regardless of our current life or health situation, I believe each day offers opportunities for serenity, peace, and joy. But serious challenges can arise. Illness, addiction, life transitions, aging, and the stressors of a busy life can block us from experiencing the life we know is possible. Sometimes we need to mourn the loss of what we once had, accept physical reality exactly as it is, and explore new ways of successfully bringing healthy pleasure back into everyday life. In my work with hospice patients, the homeless, people facing serious addiction and health challenges, and those overwhelmed by change or a busy life, I’ve witnessed firsthand how anyone can cultivate a sense of contentment even amid major external challenges. With the right practical psychological tools, it’s possible to bring a sense of enjoyment back into daily routines. It’s not always easy, but it is possible. Often, we have a strong intellectual understanding of our problems, yet these issues may persist as anxiety, depression, addiction, or general dissatisfaction with life. By intentionally monitoring and aligning our thoughts and behaviors, our emotions calm, and we come into balance. Through increased awareness and intention, we heal old hurts and begin experiencing more calm and peace—regardless of what’s happening beyond our control. I began my work as a therapist in 2004 and think of modern psychotherapy as a sacred art grounded in the ancient healing and storytelling traditions found throughout the world. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. I am always profoundly honored to share in the personal discoveries that happen in the therapy room, whether we’re together in person or miles apart meeting virtually. I’d be honored to take a journey of discovery and healing with you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
