Robert Holmes, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NC
I am a fully licensed clinical social worker with nearly 10 years of experience in the field. I am currently licensed in two states. My experience varies from therapeutic mentor, supervisor for other LCSW, and one on one with persons served as a therapist/clinician. My approach is strength-based and person-centered. I work with ages from 6 and up with a focus on adolescents, teens, and adults. In our first session together, here's what you can expect Clients can expect to take away a stronger sense of self-care and motivation throughout treatment. As a strength-based, solution-focused, and person-centered approach, the client is in control of their experience and their outcomes. The use of CBT and mindfulness enhances the strength-based approach while still giving the client a sense of self-involvement and worth. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions My strength resides in my experience as a therapist, but also life experiences. I have worked with individuals of all age ranges in a variety of settings. The services I have provided range from being a certified teacher to working with foster care children to working with veterans and couples. I use a strength-based approach because I believe the client should be in charge of the sessions, the goals, and the direction therapy takes them. I use techniques customized to the client. Through these methods, I strive for a sense of comfort and trust between clinician and client. The clients I'm best positioned to serve Starting anything can be daunting. I am here to assist you in feeling more confident and comfortable with the process. Together, we can identify obtainable goals and work toward them. The ideal client is one who has goals in mind with the resolve to work toward those goals in a comfortable and accepting environment.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
