Getting to know Robert Schetter

If you are looking for a compassionate, creativity-based therapist with skills in Forensics, Developmental Disability, and various Psychotherapy practices, look no further. I am the therapist for you. Lately, I have concentrated on trauma, attachment, and PTSD. Recent training includes EMDR, DBT, Motivation Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems. I began my therapeutic journey with a B.S. in Artistic Therapy at the University of Michigan, followed by degrees in Clinical Psychology (M.S.) and Social Work (MSW). Personal interests include music performances and as a promoter for Americana acts in California. My primary goal is to reinforce my clients’ strengths and support them along in the growth process. In doing so, I utilize the Biopsychosocial work of Dan Siegel, Bessel Van Der Kolk, and Stephan Porges.
