As a spouse and father of four young children, I understand how the stresses of daily life can wear us all down. I was drawn into the field of counseling due to my desire to help individuals who, like myself, can sometimes feel overwhelmed or alone. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Centenary University and have spent the last 8 years counseling a diverse group of adults, youth, and families. I draw from a variety of techniques, and one of my strengths is being able to adapt my counseling style to each individual I work with. It is this skill that allows me to develop the best and most effective treatment for every person I counsel.
I believe that anyone seeking counseling deserves to be heard and given an opportunity to work through their challenges with support, understanding, and a safe environment to grow. I specialize in anxiety, anger management, development of coping skills, and self-esteem issues. I also have experience with and enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Personal strengths: good listening skills, flexibility, open-mindedness, organization, punctuality, excellent communication skills, and resourcefulness.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
When working together it's important to feel connected to the person you're working with. As a team, we will work together to determine your goals and learn ways to improve your self worth while also implementing coping skills and understand the everyday challenges that prevent us from reaching these goals on our own. This process will help you to feel free and more in control of your life.
My goal is to provide you with the highest quality of care and help guide you towards developing an overall healthier outlook on life. In our sessions, we will utilize evidenced based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

I'm new to therapy and was so nervous for my first appointment but all of the nerves were shrugged away almost immediately after meeting Dr. Valle. With such a welcoming and understanding personality it really felt like a human listening to another human not a sterile doctor analyzing a patient like an object. I'm a pretty shy person but the conversation flowed so well and I can honestly say that I'm excited for my next session and to see my growth under Dr. Valle's guidance
