Robert Zazula, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I received my Bachelors in History from Jefferson and Washington College. I then received my Master’s of Social Work from the University of California in Fresno. I have continued my growth and education with numerous workshops and trainings including biofeedback and stress management. I began my career as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the USAF and left with the rank of Captain. I worked with active duty, military families, and retirees. I continued my growth and work in the area of mental health. I worked most recently at Kaiser, Solano County and The California Dept. of Mental Health. My orientation is cognitive behavioral therapy with insights from literature, history and life. The foundation of therapy is acceptance, unconditional positive regard and emotional support. The therapist helps one clarify one’s thoughts and emotions and provides new insights and alternative ways of viewing and thinking. The therapist helps the client identify distorted and unhealthy errors of thinking. He educates and teaches useful skills, including relaxation and mindfulness, and provides treatment of depression and anxiety. He encourages insight, resiliency, coping skills and growth.
