Hello, I'm Roberta. Our lives can be difficult to work through at times, especially when we're trying to cope with life's challenges. These stressors can impact our mental health and wellbeing if we use faulty coping techniques to navigate them. Our feelings can be overwhelming, and life changes can be daunting, but I'm here to help you through these transitions. With a Master's Degree in Social Work and 20 years of counseling experience, I am trained to assist clients with a variety of mental health diagnoses, including bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, explosive disorders, and some couples work. I also have extensive experience assisting older adults with aging issues and concerns, having worked as an agency older adult coordinator in Columbus, primarily in the community setting. In our sessions, I use a blend of trauma-focused techniques, cognitive behavioral approaches, motivational strategies, and solution-focused methods. My goal is to help you look at your life through a different lens, uncover your strengths, and develop more effective coping mechanisms. I believe that these challenges can help us grow, and through counseling, we can work together to find your emotional capabilities and resilience.
