Robin looks forward to working collaboratively with clients to increase their understanding of themselves and the challenges they may be facing. She uses a variety of approaches customized to the needs of her clients and operates on the premise that people thrive when treated with dignity and respect. By providing an environment of acceptance and non-judgment, Robin supports clients as they identify and utilize their strengths, values, and abilities to overcome obstacles and live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Ultimately, Robin enjoys helping clients incorporate new ways of thinking and foster long-term improvements in their overall quality of life.
Robin received a Master’s degree in Counseling and Organizational Psychology from Adler University and is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. She has experience working with individuals and groups and has worked in a number of community mental health settings and long-term nursing facilities, counseling clients ranging from children to older adults.

I had an unpleasant experience with this therapist. I felt our first session went well but the second time we met felt like I was with an entirely different person. I felt like I had to keep the communication flowing and that it was all one sided coming from me. At one point I tried to see how long she’d allow silence to occur and it took over a minute for her to say something… No useful insight was provided, no steps to move forward were made available.
