I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I’m also an accredited Christian Counselor, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel supported and understood. I specialize in trauma-informed care, with a focus on triage, trauma, emergency response, and crisis intervention. My clinical experience includes serving on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, working with MHMR of Tarrant County, and providing support to military families and veterans through Military One Source. My approach I meet my clients where they are emotionally and offer a safe and confidential space for them to be honest. Together, we will begin to develop goals, and step by step, things will get better. I can help provide you with tools that can assist you regardless of the type of issues you are facing. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed therapy practices. My focus It was a true honor to serve our military families for over four years. In addition to that work, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples in private practice across all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. My experience spans from traditional therapy settings to high-intensity crisis roles, where I’ve helped individuals navigate some of their most critical moments—including those experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts and active attempts. I also have experience assisting individuals to work through challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma using evidence-based approaches, including Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With over 35 years in healthcare, my path began as a Certified Nurse Assistant and later led to a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas.
