Welcome! I'm Robyn, and I'm glad you're here. Have you ever felt overwhelmed? Like a failure for not being able to handle it all and get things done? Do you struggle to shut off your brain at night despite feeling exhausted every morning? Or maybe it's hard to even get out of bed, and you're not sure why? I can provide feedback and tools to help manage anxiety and depressed mood, and support you in avoiding burnout. Together, we'll identify what has gotten off track and work to get you back to feeling like yourself. We'll start with what you're comfortable with and celebrate progress along the way. To accomplish this, I integrate a variety of approaches which may include cognitive techniques. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our initial session is an opportunity to get to know each other and begin to feel more comfortable. We'll start with basic demographic type questions and have an opportunity to hear more about what's bringing you to therapy and what you'd like to work on. My goal is to give plenty of time and space for questions and to ensure you are utilizing the time in therapy toward what's most pertinent to your well being. I like to provide some skills to try outside of sessions to help build upon what we are focusing on together. This isn't required, but may include worksheets, videos, relaxation exercises or simply observing the way the wind moves outside and being still. My goal is for sessions to conclude with a clear goal moving forward into the new week.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
