“Rochelle is a great listener because not only does she LISTEN but she "takes in" what I've said and responds to me with questions and ideas. Being listened to is not what I'm after by carving out time from my work. It is INFORMED RESPONSE which can help me to feel better and do better in my life. Thank you so much Rochelle!”

Getting to know Rochelle Washington

Hey there! Welcome, and congratulations on taking the first step to reclaiming control of your life! You are so brave and courageous to begin exploring the benefits of therapy. The reality is, life is a journey, and we all need help sometimes. We can get stuck, become overwhelmed, or feel hopeless with everything life throws at us. My name is Rochelle, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am here to support you in the process of getting back on track. I truly believe that to experience the best life possible, you must care for all aspects of your health and wellness, including mental and emotional health. I have worked with a very diverse population, including youth, families, disabled individuals, adults, the terminally ill, and the elderly. Common areas of focus have included anxiety, depression, stress management, and adjustment. I am passionate about meeting you where you are and allowing your time to be your time. At the end of the day, we are a TEAM! There is only one expert on your life, and that’s YOU! I am here as your teammate to help you navigate and explore the ins and outs of your journey by providing validation, alternative perspectives, and a safe, non-judgmental space.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Each time we work together will be different. The first session will primarily be a time for us to get to know each other, explore current issues or concerns that you have, and talk about the logistics and policies of therapy. We will then identify what are the treatment goals- what are we working towards and how long are we going to be working together? Ideally, during the following appointments we will work towards the identified treatment plan goals. Ultimately, my hope is that you will come away from therapy with alternative perspectives, tools and resources that will equip you to feel a greater sense of control with your journey of life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Very easy to speak openly with .
My daughter loves her meetings with Dr. Rainey. She feels heard and empowered after every session. Plus she seems to have an action plan. My kiddo is always in a good mood after her meetings and looks forward to the next week’s meeting. Thanks
