Getting to know Ron Mathew Samaan
I'm a licensed psychotherapist practicing in California, with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. I work with clients across a variety of issues. I counsel individuals, couples, teens, and families from a wide range of cultural, racial, and ethnic groups. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ population. My training and education make me especially qualified to treat depression, anxiety, panic, existential concerns, and attachment wounds. I utilize multiple therapeutic modalities, which allows me to specifically help you transform. Whatever it is you are struggling with, my job is to assist you in changing your relationship with your pain—and help you become the person you want to become.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach to psychotherapy is eclectic - allowing me to address common issues. Some of the areas I have experience focusing on are depression, anxiety, and relational issues. In therapy, we will look to find meaning in our present-day challenges, experiment with new ways of thinking, and seek resolution.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
