Hi there, I'm Roneet! My name is Roneet Cooper, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work collaboratively with clients to address depression, anxiety, caregiver and healthcare-related stressors, chronic pain, or geriatric issues. Together, we’ll help you grow from struggles, improve your quality of life, and tap into your inner strength to move forward. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University and my Bachelor’s from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women. My approach I use a person-centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. My focus Depression, anxiety, aging, chronic illness, caregiving, family conflict, grief and loss, life transitions, and stress management. My communication style Establishing safety and comfort is key. I listen to your concerns and work collaboratively to customize your treatment goals. My journey to mental healthcare From an early age, my family taught me that helping one person might not change the world, but it can change the world for that person. I have lived by this philosophy and became a Social Worker 25+ years ago to help one person at a time. My goals for you Change involves vulnerability, fear, and exploring beliefs that affect behaviors and goals. I aim to increase your perception of your ability to cope with obstacles and succeed in desired change. My first session with you In our initial visit, we’ll get to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, your history, education, relationships, living situation, and career. These questions help us set your goals.
