Getting to know Rosa Lomeli

I provide therapy services in English and Spanish. As a Latinx LMFT who was raised in the Central Valley, I am passionate about serving the community and helping to lessen the fear of accessing mental health services. My approach focuses on creating a safe, genuine, and accepting relationship with my clients, in which they can explore and unblock the issues that keep them from moving forward in their lives and relationships. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, relational difficulties, or depression.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice direct but gentle communication that focuses on challenging maladaptive patterns. I have always enjoyed helping others and knew this was my calling. Working with clients and helping them develop tools to gain confidence or find peace for themselves and their relationships has been extremely rewarding.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together, we’ll identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, building self-esteem, or another personal objective. Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy.
