Getting to know Rosanna Velat

Do you feel you are living a genuine life while making your living? Do you wonder if you know yourself well enough to truly understand what you want out of life and which parts matter most to you? My name is Rosanna, and my mission is to help as many people as I can live authentic lives while navigating the demands and behaviors of those around us-family, significant others, employers, and coworkers. I hold a Master's degree in Organizational and Counseling Psychology from Adler University. I am trauma competent and informed, and I am working toward becoming trauma specialized. I utilize CBT, Solution-Focused, ACT, Attachment, Systems, and Adlerian theories to help you uncover your values and goals, resolve relationship traumas, and find your path to being genuine and true to yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

At first, I aim to have clients leave feeling heard, with a better sense of clarity, and skills to start feeling better. At the end of our time together, I hope you will have felt the power of the therapeutic relationship, and if not fully solved the immediate issue, to at least have a plan to tackle that challenge. For longer term issues, I want my clients to leave with a plan on how to stay true to themselves, while still staying connected to their social supports, and thriving within the systems in their lives.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
