Getting to know Rose Jimenez-Jones

As a passionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles, my experience has allowed me to explore and collaborate with clients on the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. Being part of the BIPOC community is a reason to be proud, celebrate, and take ownership of a diverse and culturally rich identity. There is an extensive history of marginalization, oppression, and racism. BIPOC individuals can experience stress, trauma, violence, and discrimination in everyday life—whether as a single experience or generational trauma. BIPOC individuals face unique and negative impacts on their mental and emotional well-being. I recognize and see the unique experiences of BIPOC individuals and am here to support you and/or your partner or family. I work with the LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual) community. I identify as an affirming and informed counselor and recognize the unique experiences of trauma, stress, and discrimination that the LGBTQIA+ community faces in everyday life. I have experience working with individuals impacted by depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic violence, complex trauma, substance abuse, poverty, and other disorders.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The initial session I will be assessing what your current needs are and explain the support I am able to provide. We will work collaboratively together to process your experiences and work on developing additional skills to help cope with feelings and emotions you are experiencing.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

So far, my experience has been great! Starting therapy with a new therapist always tends to be a little nerve wrecking for me, but she has created a safe space for me to share and I enjoy hearing her direct feedback.
