Hi there, I'm Rose Mary! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida with over 30 years of experience. I am fluent in English and Spanish and have worked in various clinical settings, providing therapy services to individuals of all ages. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova University, a Bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University, and an Associate’s degree from Allegany College. My approach to therapy is rooted in a client-centered perspective. I draw upon evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have extensive experience assessing and treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, grief, stress, trauma, impulse control and conduct disorders, self-esteem issues, coping skills, life transitions, ADHD, behavioral challenges, parenting skills, and women’s issues. I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate mental health challenges and strive to empower clients to become the best versions of themselves. With empathy and support, I am dedicated to serving the community and providing guidance to those in need. Together, we can work toward building a brighter and more fulfilling future. My interest in mental healthcare began with a deep curiosity about people, behavior, mental health, and well-being. From my initial steps into Psychology, I became passionate about understanding and supporting mental health. I take a collaborative approach to establishing goals with my clients. My priority is focusing on the goals clients bring to sessions while integrating my therapeutic knowledge.
