Getting to know Roselyn Ortega

With a passion for helping others achieve their greatest potential, providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere to clients to lay the groundwork for open communication and personal accomplishments. Investing in clients and working with them to achieve their therapeutic goals is a priority. The ideal outcome is to help clients to learn skills that they can use in all settings and relationships and support them as they function in all areas of their life holistically. The idea is they find inner peace and personal joy. I have a Master's in Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am comfortable providing therapy in Spanish as well as I am fluent. My experience has included outpatient and inpatient settings with a wide variety of client needs. I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have years of experience with a variety of disorders most comfortable and experienced with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transition problems, PTSD, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and trauma. I specialize in treating issues relating to self-harm, depression, and anxiety. I also have both personal and professional experience as well as additional training in family military life-specific issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After in initial session in my practice client can expect to feel at ease with a non-judgemental, person-center approach to healing. As sessions continue, the client will have a roadmap to self-actualization and goal attainment. A therapeutic alliance that focuses on trust and collaboration. Through the course of treatment, clients should feel a change in their life satisfaction and the concerns that brought them to therapy.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
