Hi there, I'm Rosemarie! I am Rosemarie Manzolillo, a licensed mental health counselor in Florida. My practice focuses on working with individuals, families, and couples in marriage therapy. I also have experience addressing trauma-related issues. My approach I tend to use a client-centered approach in therapy. I incorporate behavioral therapy techniques, including cognitive behavior recognition, and often provide helpful assignments for clients to work on between sessions. Additionally, I use mindfulness strategies to help focus on current issues. My focus I enjoy working with married couples and parents who are struggling. I have significant experience supporting clients who have experienced trauma, particularly sexual abuse. Helping clients manage stress and anxiety is also an area I find rewarding. My communication style I believe it’s important to create a non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe and truly heard. Previous clients have shared that I don’t take sides in marriage and family issues and that they find it easy to talk with me. My journey to mental healthcare My first experience was in education, particularly elementary school. While teaching, I noticed some children struggled due to family crises, which inspired me to pursue counseling for children and their families. I love helping individuals and families grow, and it brings me great satisfaction to see positive change and success in their lives.
