Getting to know Ruby Jimenez
Are you tired of feeling lonely and disconnected from life? If you are struggling with various mental health and emotional challenges, I'm here to support you in finding healthier ways to relate to yourself and others.
I provide individual, dyadic, and family therapy to communities from diverse backgrounds. For years, I have worked with adults and adolescents struggling with clinical depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, mood disorders, and more. I primarily conduct individual sessions when working with adolescents or adults, unless family sessions are requested and deemed appropriate. For Telehealth, I primarily work with adults (18-55 years). I also have specialized training in working with young children (under 10 years) who have endured adverse childhood experiences.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of California, Berkeley. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role in the healing process.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, build on your strengths, and make sense of your own story. I will support your journey in rewriting or honoring the various scripts you tell yourself. We will incorporate a transgenerational, societal, and cultural framework. Please do not hesitate to reach out and find a therapist that is a good fit for you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
