Rudi Whitmore, LPCC

Rudi Whitmore, LPCC

Psychotherapist
CA
I am an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist and a member of the queer community, helping create meaning, peace, and growth from trauma and transitions in my clients' lives. I use mindfulness, increased coping skills, and strengths-based counseling to assist clients in improving their quality of life. My approach I am a strengths-based counselor, and so I believe each of my clients is the expert in their own lives and that you have skills to build on to improve your life. I cultivate an awareness of those skills using mindfulness to help you look at everyday moments and realize new opportunities for change and growth at the intersection of many facets of your identities. My focus My clients range from the LGBTQIA community and those exploring their gender expression, to neurologically diverse clients (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), POC, and those learning to manage trauma, depression, or anxiety. My communication style I communicate clearly, warmly, and directly. I believe we heal in connection to one another. Cultivating your safety is important, and I take that seriously, but there is always room for connecting over the things that bring you joy as well.
