Have you struggled with a lot of anxiety and OCD since you were young? Do you want to make changes so your husband and daughters can love you again? I hold an EdD in Counseling from the University of Rochester and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Rider University. I use a person-centered approach to build rapport with clients and provide psychoeducation about what depression and anxiety are, as well as how therapy works to reduce those unknown feelings. The psychodynamic approach helps me connect your current depression and anxiety to childhood experiences and parental behaviors. I also use CBT and DBT to help you reframe thoughts and accept mental and physical challenges. Additionally, I encourage deep breathing and journaling to cope with negative emotions on a daily basis. I will meet you where you are and support you in making changes when you are ready.
