What should a new client know about working with you?

Would you like someone to listen to you? Maybe you are struggling with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, isolation, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, attachment issues, excessive worrying, feeling stuck in your life, healing from past wounds, or your sense of identity and purpose. I would be honored to support you on your journey by providing a safe and judgement free space to explore your thoughts, feelings, challenges, and hopes. I work with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. I am happy to work with people of all abilities, races, genders, backgrounds, ages, religious faith, agnostic, atheist, and identities (LGBTQAI+ friendly).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Each session I welcome you to explore what is most relevant for you that week. Some sessions we may focus on present issues, other sessions we may look at events from your past, and others we may look at dreams for the future. I use a client-centered approach and bring in elements of the Process Model of psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Geshalt Chair Work, Psychodynamics, Mindfulness, Somatics, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
