Together, we will discuss and implement strategies to make your burdens feel lighter. My approach My approach to providing therapy is client-centered. Creating a space in which clients can experience empathy and support is important to growth and change. I work collaboratively with clients to identify current challenges and create a treatment plan that will provide a beneficial experience. I strive to make counseling an approachable experience through genuine support, compassionate guidance, warmth, and humor. My focus I am skilled in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-confidence challenges, and life transitions. My ideal client is someone who wants to be the best version of themselves and is willing to put in the work to get there but may be feeling a little stuck. My communication style I am an active listener and strive to create a comfortable, judgment-free space for you to share your story. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe, non-biased, confidential, client-centered environment. My first session with you Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy and discuss a plan moving forward toward healing.

Ruth is so empathetic and she really knows how to listen and open me up. She is very encouraging and being able to receive her counseling sessions truly has been helping me over the past year to realize what good things I actually deserve in life and getting past some very tragic events.
Ruth is incredibly supportive and creates an environment where I don't feel judged. She responds quickly to messages and makes me feel validated while also helping me realize a different perspective. I know when I need comforting or advice, Ruth is there with a kind word or excellent worksheet.
