Hi there, I'm Ruth! Life can be hard at times, however, there is hope. I provide a safe space with no judgement for you to share and experience self discovery as I help you put the puzzle of your life together. My focus It can be difficult to be in a multicultural relationship, being an immigrant, raising families, and struggle with identities. You are not alone. I can help you navigate anxiety, manage life transitions, and have better quality of life that you deserve. My approach My approach is to empower you and help you find your own inner strength to overcome life challenges, anxiety, and feel confident in transitions. My communication style I like to create a supportive, and non-judgmental environment by having open communication, and active listening. I also value your life experiences and believe each individual has the ability to work through challenging situations. My journey to mental healthcare I am a bicultural and bilingual healer who was born and raised in Asia but has lived in the United States for almost 3 decades. I understand how challenging it can be to adapt a culture that is different from the culture that an individual was raised in. I strongly believe human resiliency is powerful and can overcome all obstacles. My goals for you I believe therapy is a teamwork and partnership. We will set achievable goals together that work for you to improve relationships, building self-esteem, and/or pursuing personal growth. Our first session We will get to know each other in our first session and discuss your expectation from therapy. It’s normal to feel uncomfortable in therapy, however, therapy is a process to become a better you. We will build trust and work together to achieve your goals one step at a time.
