He retired from the Armed Forces, providing non-clinical counseling before transitioning to pursue a career in Clinical Social Work. Dr. Ayers is a professional member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). Dr. Ayers specializes in men's and women's chronic health and body issues that prevent sexual satisfaction and freedom. His specialty in empowering those facing sexuality and sex-based concerns does not limit his ability to address other behavioral health issues for couples and individuals. Dr. Ayers uses insight-oriented therapy among other theories, in an integrative and collaborative approach to help people overcome life obstacles and reach their full potential.
