What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with adults and adolescents who are ready to foster personal growth, resilience, and healing. My ideal clients are those grappling with stress management, grief and loss, life transitions, depression, anxiety, addiction-recovery, ADHD, relationship problems, issues with self-esteem, identity development, trauma, college counseling, military-veteran specific issues, as well as individuals simply seeking personal development. In our work together, I'll provide a supportive and confidential environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. We will collaborate to develop practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and the symptoms of depression or ADHD. For those navigating significant life events, I offer guidance in processing grief and loss and successfully moving through challenging life transitions. We will also focus on improving relationship problems, building a stronger sense of self-esteem, and fostering identity development. I also provide specialized support for college counseling and for individuals in addiction recovery. I have a deep understanding of military culture and the unique experiences of veterans, offering specialized support for military-veteran-specific issues like combat stress, PTSD, and the complexities of transitioning back to civilian life. My goal is to equip you with the tools and insights needed to heal from trauma, overcome obstacles, and lead a more resilient and fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our sessions, you can expect me to communicate with warmth, empathy, and directness. I strive to create a non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. My tone is always respectful and collaborative, ensuring you feel empowered as an active participant in your healing journey. I believe in clear, open dialogue, and I'll always be transparent about our therapeutic process, inviting your feedback every step of the way.
