Getting to know Ryan Smith
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications and my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. I am also a semester away from graduating with my second Master of Science degree in Psychology. Throughout college, I had the honor of representing Fresno State University as a member of the collegiate rodeo team. This experience was especially meaningful to me, as the Central Valley has been my home since birth.
I grew up in the small town of Lemoore, California, on my family's 100-acre cattle ranch, which was shared with my extended family-cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandparents. I have been with my college sweetheart for six years and married for just over a year. Because of this, I deeply understand the complexity of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, as well as the profound impact they have on our lives.
My passion lies in supporting individuals because I believe each person holds a vital part of the human experience. Everyone is unique, bringing their own morals, beliefs, triggers, traumas, and more. As a therapist, my goal is to help each individual craft the best possible life path for themselves.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
