Psychotherapist

Life can look fine on the outside while feeling heavy, confusing, or overwhelming on the inside. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, minimize your experiences, or hold it together for anyone else. You get to show up as you are. I work with adults navigating real-life stressors like career pressure, life transitions, relationship shifts, family dynamics (including parenting your parents), anxiety, burnout, and identity changes. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning people who are tired of surviving and want clarity, direction, and emotional relief. As a licensed therapist and professor, I bring both clinical expertise and a practical, grounded approach. Our work is collaborative and goal-oriented, while still leaving room for reflection, honesty, and rest. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you feel more steady, confident, and aligned with the life you’re building. I currently accept Optum commercial insurance, including EAP plans, and Aetna commercial insurance (EAP not accepted at this time). Sessions are virtual, and I’m actively accepting new clients. If something here resonates, that matters. You don’t have to navigate this season alone—and support can start now.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I create a space where you can be honest without pressure to perform or have everything figured out. At the same time, our work is intentional—sessions have purpose, direction, and room for real progress. I tend to work best with clients who want both emotional support and practical insight. We’ll spend time understanding what’s happening beneath the surface, while also identifying patterns, boundaries, and next steps that make life feel more manageable. You can expect reflection, thoughtful questions, and strategies you can actually use between sessions. I value transparency and pacing. You won’t be pushed to share more than you’re ready to, and we’ll move at a speed that feels sustainable. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned as you navigate this season of your life. If you’re looking for a therapist who is engaged, present, and invested in helping you move forward, you’re in the right place.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin with an initial session focused on understanding your concerns, history, and goals. Together, we identify priorities and develop a clear treatment plan so our work has direction from the start. Ongoing sessions are collaborative and structured. Each session includes check-ins, focused discussion, skill-building or insight-based work, and practical strategies you can apply between sessions. We regularly review progress and adjust goals as needed. Sessions are conducted via secure telehealth in a supportive, professional setting. My approach balances reflection with action, helping clients gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful changes over time.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Ongoing session: $120-200 for 60 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

I am currently in-network with UnitedHealthcare (UHC/Optum). I submit insurance claims for you, so you don’t need to handle paperwork. Your cost will depend on your plan and may include a copay, coinsurance, or deductible. Payment is collected after your insurance processes the claim. I recommend checking with your insurance provider before your first session so you know what to expect. Additional insurance plans may be accepted in the future.
