Getting to know Sandra Dunn
As a counselor, I believe we all strive to live happy, healthy, successful, and independent lives, but sometimes the stresses of everyday responsibilities can feel overwhelming. This is where counseling can make a difference.
Counseling has long been a proven tool in the successful management of stress. My office is a safe space to explore any number of private topics you may want to discuss, such as wellness, depression, anxiety, trauma, or other areas of concern. We will meet to discuss these important issues and work collaboratively to help you reach your goals.
I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree from Governors State University. My therapy approach depends on the particular needs of each client. Since we are all made up of mind, body, and spirit, I use a holistic approach. I follow a humanistic, person-centered style of counseling and utilize methods from different therapy approaches, understanding that each person has distinctive needs. I look forward to meeting with you to determine how we can work toward a greater state of wellness and happiness.
