Sarah Bonilla, LMFT

Sarah Bonilla, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I first learned about the possible changes made in therapy as a college student working a receptionist job at a mental health clinic. I witnessed firsthand the difference in people from when they started treatment to when they finished. This made me curious about the therapeutic process and led me to pursue a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. I have over 15 years of experience helping adults, couples, and families find inner strength and solutions to the problems and difficulties that can happen in life. I have worked extensively with young adults as they navigate life’s changes, individuals struggling with mood disorders, and couples experiencing relational difficulties. I also have a passion for helping parents find attachment-based solutions to best parent their children. I believe we are all meant to thrive instead of just survive, and in order to do that, sometimes we need some outside support. I take a direct and collaborative approach that is client-focused. I truly believe that with the right support and within the therapeutic relationship, progress and insight can be gained so that life can be fully enjoyed.
