Getting to know Sarah Czwartacky

I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted for who you are, without judgment or pressure to change yourself to meet someone else's expectations. My approach is person-centered, relational, and psychodynamic, meaning that together, we'll explore how your experiences, relationships, and personal history have shaped the way you understand yourself and navigate the world. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel comfortable showing up authentically and exploring what matters most to you. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. My practice is grounded in culturally informed, body-affirming care, including a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective that respects body diversity and recognizes the many factors that influence our relationships with ourselves and our bodies. I believe that understanding your experiences within the context of your identity, relationships, and environment is an important part of creating meaningful and lasting change. In our sessions, I bring compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and a little humor to help make difficult conversations feel more approachable. Together, we'll explore patterns that may no longer serve you, build greater self-awareness, and identify what growth and progress look like on your own terms. While therapy can sometimes be challenging, my goal is to help you feel supported throughout the process and develop a greater sense of clarity, confidence, and connection to yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe you deserve a therapeutic space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or feeling the need to minimize your experiences or concerns. I bring warmth, compassion, curiosity, and humor into our sessions, and I value building a genuine, trusting relationship. I see therapy as a collaborative process where your voice, experiences, and goals guide our work. My role is to support you, offer new perspectives, and help you feel more connected to yourself as you navigate life's challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together will focus on exploring how your experiences, relationships, and personal history may influence the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. Through a relational and psychodynamic approach, we'll work to identify patterns, deepen self-awareness, and better understand the challenges you're facing. Together, we'll define what progress means to you and develop a path toward meaningful change. Therapy may bring up difficult emotions or experiences, but we'll navigate those moments collaboratively and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I've appreciated having a space to talk through parenting challenges and explore healthier ways to handle the stress at home
She's down to earth and very easy to talk to! Glad I was able to speak with her and i look forward to my next appointment.
Well, I'm learning how to handle the chaos with a little more patience and a lot less frustration.
Therapy has helped me slow down, manage my stress, and respond a little more calmly.
I wasnt expecting it to go so smoothly on the first appointment. Thanks!
Some days it feels like everything is happening at once, and I don't know where to start and now I'm slowly learning how to handle things without putting so much pressure on myself
Sarah has helped me recognize my triggers, communicate what I'm feeling, and respond to difficult situations in healthier ways rather than isolating myself
Growing up, I felt overlooked and unimportant and now as an adult, I struggled with rejection and constantly needing reassurance. But Sarah has helped me recognize these patterns andLuca begin building my confidence and self-worth. I'm staying open minded in the process and appreciate the patience and care Sarah has provided so far.
The staff is amazing! Everyone is kind, welcoming, and professional. I’ve struggled with abandonment issues for years, and this journey has helped me understand my emotions and begin healing from past experiences. I 100% feel supported throughout this process and I'm very grateful for this opportunity.
Some days I feel like a chef, chauffeur, homework tutor, referee, and snack provider all in one. 😂 so therapy has given me a place to focus on myself for a change and work through the stress of everyday life
I appreciate having someone who listens without judgment. It's just a safe space to talk through my worries and work on healthier ways to manage all the stress.
