Psychotherapist

Anxiety & Sleeplessness Fear, insomnia, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions we can experience at various points in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we work toward increasing sleep time, decreasing panic or anxiety attacks or symptoms, fully understanding where overwhelming emotions stem from, and moving toward becoming your best self. Relationships Relationship counseling can benefit couples seeking to strengthen their emotional connection at any stage of their relationship. Therapy sessions involve both partners and provide a supportive space to discuss issues and explore solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Trauma and Healing Many individuals experience symptoms related to painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post-traumatic events. Together, we work through these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and Social Psychology from Ball State University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to supporting your mental health and well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients report taking away new ways to perceive themselves, their loved ones, and their world. Clients reports having inner healing. I've had new parents come into the office exhausted, sexually depleted, and within four sessions find sleep, and each other again (but they put in all the work to make that happen). Clients with trauma come in carrying heavy burdens, enormous weights that are crushing their bodies and souls, we work together to release the burden, to regain confidence, to see a path forward. Clients can expect a safe place where they won't be judged for any sexual identity or proclivity, as long as they have a consenting adult partner. All cultures, religions, faiths, and spirituality are respected and worked into the therapy if so desired.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
