Sarah Robilotta, LPCC

Psychotherapist
CA
My name is Sarah Robilotta, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over 10 years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from the University of North Florida and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. My approach to therapy is to treat the whole person, looking beyond the immediate situation to explore core issues contributing to the member’s current challenges. I primarily work with adults and adolescents, offering both individual and group sessions. My style of therapy is eclectic, blending holistic methods with evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs. While I have a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I also help clients explore core childhood issues and trauma that may be impacting their present lives. Additionally, I have extensive experience with skills-based models such as anger management and provide Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for clients seeking those services. I treat a wide range of conditions, including Substance Use Disorders, mood disorders like Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), other anxiety disorders, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder. I also have significant experience working with Personality Disorders, Adjustment Disorder, and OCD. My communication style is open and supportive. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing and providing feedback. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is the connection and relationship between therapist and client. My journey into mental healthcare stems from a lifelong desire to help others. After completing my Bachelor’s in Psychology, I realized that mental health was the perfect fit for my career goals. Having been a refugee and immigrant as a young child, I have a deep understanding of suffering and resilience that informs my compassionate approach to therapy.
