Savannah Williams, LCPC

Psychotherapist
IL
Hi! I am Savannah Williams, a clinically licensed therapist (LCPC) with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults. My experience includes crisis work, partial and intensive hospitalization, and private practice. I often use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help you identify and target negative thinking patterns and behaviors you want to change. Understanding our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions can completely change our day-to-day experience. Together, we will create a treatment plan and goals based on where you want to see change. We will break down those goals into little steps and achieve them over time. I offer skills that can help you maintain the progress you make during treatment and will incorporate grace and compassion throughout your journey. The journey to unlearning and learning the lessons that your life experiences taught you is extremely hard, especially when doing it alone. Working with me, I will be sure to create a safe and judgment-free space for you to grow and heal. Together, we will put in the work, effort, and support you need to achieve your goals! Remember, progress is not linear!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
