“Selena acknowledges that I am the one who has to live with my decisions and so will never tell me what I have to do; but will rather show me that I have options and be happy for me in my healthy choices. But she will be there to talk it out with me no matter what decisions I make, whether healthy or not. I don't feel so alone anymore.”

Getting to know Selena Kradolfer

I choose to practice trauma-informed care because intention and corrective experiences are important aspects of healing. As a therapist with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, I enjoy providing services for children, teens, and adults of all ages through individual, couples, and family therapy. Recognizing that each person and every family has its own unique makeup and needs, I utilize strengths-based approaches to help foster improved relationships and learn new ways of working together toward goals. I value helping clients identify strategies they can apply to stressors impacting their lives in order to experience relief from suffering, develop communication skills, practice healthy coping skills, and improve confidence. I love championing my clients toward their best selves while contributing encouragement, empathy, and hope for a bright future!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session is an opportunity for you to ask questions, tell me about your goals and help me understand what I can do to be helpful. We’ll review what you’ve filled out and I’ll ask questions to help me better understand which types of therapy might be a good fit. I will ask about your strengths, support system and experiences impacting you.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I very much value by therapy sessions with Selena. She has listened and helped me work through a lot of things and seeing my growth and transformation has been uplifting.
I really appreciate that Selena often makes connections in our work together to experiences from her personal life. That high level of empathy always leaves me feeling validated and with a clearer idea of how I can apply strategies to my own life.
Selena brings a personal and authentic experience to therapy. She also references a lot of coursework and classes to help aid discussion. I finally found a therapist that can provide the kind of therapy I need.
I never imagined seeing a therapist could be so helpful. Selena is wonderful. She is passionate, resourceful, and empathetic. I don't know where my mental state might be without her. I am always grateful for how she helped me tackle my issues and her analysis and solutions. I always look forward to our sessions. She created a safe space to allow me to share issues I would never share with others. I am glad I found her and have her as my therapist.
Selena is excellent!
I feel a very nice connection with Salina. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding. I like how she is flexible and able to help me on the spot if I'm struggling with a parenting or personal issue. She provides a lot of great examples and copying strategies that I apply to my daily life.
